Since our electromagnetic life-force melanated energy vibrates highest in tribal group gatherings some classes are taught in pairs of 2. This paired format allows you to experience firsthand the underlying ancient Chinese philosophy of Yin & Yang; which demonstrate how 2 seemingly separate energy forces are actually interconnected and work in harmony with one another in the Spirit of ONENESS! There are 5 branches of Yoga, an ancient Healing-Art. Our training focuses on the physical and mental branches which are hatha (physical movement) and raja (meditation) yoga.
As Practitioners in the Healing Arts, we teach self-care and self-responsibility of your own mind, body & soul.
You will learn safe stretching techniques that will elongate your muscle tissue while simultaneously releasing stuck-stagnant spiritual energy. This is done by applying massage compressions along invisible or ‘zen’ energy lines throughout your body, as you relax into each pose.
Core Mission: To teach correct body alignment by teaching balancing poses and stretches that allow you to go deeper into each position.
Core Goal: To teach and empower you to take complete care and responsibility for your very own Body Temple—the only place your mind & soul has to live!
Sequence: You are guided through a series of stretches, yoga poses, calisthenics, and rhythmic movements as your instructor applies bodywork compressions and alignment techniques that elongate muscle tissue, and increase flexibility.
Sessions end with peaceful and mindful meditation for divine relaxation & rejuvenation!
